Good Eats

Yay! You’re coming to Maui! We’re so excited. We can’t wait to see you in paradise.

We do recommend renting a car if you’re planing on staying a while, also, this will aid in your culinary experience.

Keeping in mind that Ali is allergic to fish and Denny loves fish, here are some restaurants we recommend on Maui for any appetite:

  • Mama’s Fish House – best on the island. Make a reservation a week in advance. Get a scorpion. Need we say more?
  • Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar – unless your coming from Japan (sorry Joe and Alexandra), this will be the best Sushi you’ve ever had. Reservation required.
  • Cafe O’Lei – whatever you want, they’ve got it. And they do it well. From Maui onion soup to sushi – they hit the mark, cheap. You’ll be surrounded by locals.
  • Taqueria Cruz – In the back of a ghetto strip mall – awesome fish tacos, awesome chicken tacos. Cheapest good meal on Maui.
  • Joe’s – walking distance. Best Mai Tai. Comfort food.
  • Longhi’s – closest decent food. In the mall above the hotel. Great brunch.
  • Pacific’O Restaurant – You’re in for a LONG drive. But it’s worth it. My second favorite restaurant on the island to Mama’s.

All of these places can be found on yelp. Let us know if you have any questions!

Wedding Attire

So, we’ve got a lot of questions about wedding attire. We’d love for this to be a casual Hawaiian wedding. We want you to be comfortable, so please wear whatever you’d like.

If you need more guidance, we hope this helps:

  • Gents, light pants and a red or purple shirt (any shade) would be great
  • Ladies, a red or purple dress would be lovely

I hope this puts all of your doubts to rest!

Looking forward to seeing you all in paradise!
